It’s exactly 1,600 years
since the Romans left Britain, which is as good an excuse as any for a
celebration. And one of the best ways
to celebrate is with a traditional British ale or two at the Lincoln Beer
Festival. This year, it’s bigger and
better than ever, with over 80 real ales from all over the UK, and longer
opening hours on Friday. We also have a
bar serving international beers and, for those who can’t find a beer to suit
their palate, traditional, farm-produced cider and perry.
Mingle with the enthusiasts
in the main hall, or relax in the Armoury Bar and enjoy the live music.
Organised and staffed entirely by volunteers
from the Campaign for Real Ale, the Festival attracts visitors from across the
country.
